As a Creative Director, I work across strategy, motion, video, and front-end development to turn complex ideas into clear, engaging experiences that move people to act.

I create story-driven websites where design, motion, and video work together and then build them in code.
I design websites with a clear purpose - to clarify the message, reduce friction, and drive action. From structure and hierarchy to interaction and motion, I shape user flows that guide people toward clear actions.
I create narrative-driven websites where animation, scroll, and video guide the story. Motion is used deliberately to direct attention, reinforce key messages, and create emotional pacing as users move through the page.
With a technical and creative background, I take projects all the way through to launch. Ensuring the design, motion, and storytelling intent isn't lost in translation and that design systems translate cleanly into production-ready code.
Strategy, motion, and code aligned from concept to launch. I connect the story, the experience, and the implementation. Nothing gets lost between the idea and the live site.

Hi, I'm Jason - a creative director and designer from Ireland, based in New York. I've worked with studios and media teams including Vox, PBS, and Unreasonable Studios, creating digital experiences that explain complex products, ideas, and stories through motion, video, and interaction.
I work independently across design, motion, and front-end development—using AI where it speeds up or strengthens the work, with full control from concept through production.
My path into digital work began in Ireland, where I completed two degrees: one in Computer Science and another in Digital Media. Studying both disciplines meant moving between the structure of software engineering and the creative side of storytelling and design.
I began my professional career in Toronto, working with startups and agencies on digital products and user interfaces. This experience helped deepen my understanding of design systems, usability, and the importance of connecting design decisions with the realities of development.
In New York I worked as a Motion Designer for media organisations, startups, and agencies including Vox, Unreasonable Studios, The Bloc, and PBS. Many of the projects involved digital experiences designed to explain complex ideas or products through animation, video, and interaction..
I creatively direct and build digital experiences by combining storytelling, design systems, motion, and front-end development. My breadth of experience allows me to use AI to move faster and test more ideas, while maintaining a high standard of craft, coherence, and intent throughout the final work.
My practice brings together storytelling, design, motion, video, and front-end development. Working across multiple disciplines allows ideas to move from early strategy through to final production without losing clarity, craft, & intent.
I'm often brought in when a project needs to explain the complex, launch the new, or bridge concept and code.
A selection of motion-led work across branding, explainers, and digital experiences. All design and animation is my own, built in After Effects and Cinema 4D.
I integrate AI thoughtfully into the creative process - not as a gimmick, but as a way to think bigger, explore faster, and deliver stronger outcomes. With a background in coding, design, and narrative work, I understand how to use AI strategically: supporting ideation, prototyping, motion workflows, writing, design iteration, and complex problem solving without sacrificing human taste or the integrity of my craft.
